A recent study confirms what many of us have suspected all along: cell phones do not interfere with hospital equipment. The study by the Mayo Clinic, in which 300 tests were performed over a five-month period, using two different cell phones from different carriers and 192 medical devices, didn't encounter a single problem. As a result, Mayo Clinic officials are revisiting the facility's ban on mobile phones. Hopefully, other health-care facilities will follow their lead.
