I spotted this urban sylph and her iambic companion hopping along University Avenue under a sterling sky. One thousand years and one thousand miles from the summer of love, these two remind me of nothing more than my mother's gentle photos from the sixties. We have come from monochrome to chromatose, from braless to triple-pierced, from flowing manes to neon fur.
