ClemsonA mysterious announcement appeared in my RSS Feed: At InnoVentures 2007, a conference of "innovators and entrepreneurs," a group from Clemson University will make a presentation called "Spinal Cord / Nerve Regeneration Technologies".

Who are they? I have no clue, but they sure sound like my kind of company. I'll be talking to them tomorrow, in fact.

A quick search of Clemson at Google for spinal-cord brings up a few possibilities. Xuejen Wen and Ken Webb look to be researching a biomaterials/tissue engineering approach, while JeoungSoo Lee is working on a Nogo blocker similar to that of Novartis. Could one or more of them be involved?

Whatever it is, I'm hoping for the best.
