When we first saw the RelaxOne immersive music chair, we thought not of cutting-edge technology but of the similarly styled speaker chairsof the late-'60s and '70s. These therapeutic caccoon-like seats were marketed as space-age escapes for meditation and relaxation, where you could embark on "sound-propelled journeys" thanks to inlaid stereo speakers. Not much has changed in 30 years it seems, except that instead of the "phonographic fun" the early chairs offered, the RelaxOne is outfitted with with a CD player and an internal ambient light for reading.
