I just discovered a couple of ways to publish any site's RSS feed on a Twitter account.
RSS to Twitter is a little webapp that lets you add feeds to your Twitter account. Just log in, add some feeds, and you'll get updates whenever something new goes out on the feed. The author is anonymous.
Mario Menti's Twitterfeed does the same thing and has more features, like OpenID support and configurable posting schedules.
I'm testing RSS to Twitter right now. I can't figure out how often
items post, and I'm assuming it's all public – it makes sense (since
Twitter is public) but there is no documentation. If I see this post
hit my twitter page, then we're rocking and rolling. UPDATE: Yep,
it worked. And it's too much! Also, it truncates the post without a
link off to the full version. I killed the feed for now. I'll test the
other services, then give Monkey Bites its own Twitter account so you
can follow along there.
