Optimusmaximus1Here's a fantastic shot of the Optimus OLED keyboard, making it clear the guys are still most definitely in business. A few months back, it looked like they would release the beast in black and white so as to keep prices reasonable: not exactly what the fans were looking for. Yes, ladies and lads, that's going to be a $1,500 keyboard, with pre-orders to open in April, and delivery for Christmas.

The bad news is that the giant photo is all that's on show: the real thing won't be in evidence at CeBIT. More details are available regarding this spectacularly high-end item: the keys will have a lifespan of 5 years, offset by a replacement program that will offer existing owners replacement clickers for $10 a letter.

For you cheapskates out there, simpler versions of the keyboard with less fancy OLED keys will be in the offing for under $1,000.
