When a carbon fiber Look 585bike came in the mail today, we were stoked. This thing is a flawlessly constructed, meticulously engineered beauty. But the good folks at Look forgot one crucial item—a fork adjusting kit.
So Mark did the sensible thing and bought a hacksaw so we could cut the fork down.
We painstakingly sliced a three inch piece off the fork, cutting slowly enough as to not create any jagged edges.
Here's how that went:
Yeah, not the cleanest cut in the world, but we found some makeshift sandpaper and filed the fork down perfectly. Plus, we ended up with an awesome bonus prize: an inanimate carbon rod!
Now all we have left to do is put some pedals on the 585 and start taking it off some sweet jumps.
