Once again the Japanese prove that they do everything better. The following clips are from a Gladiator-like show in Japan called Sasuke 2007. According to Japan Probe 100 contestants entered the the obstacle course, but only a handful managed to pass the first two stages (there are four total stages). The first video is the first stage of the course. While the contestants crazy Spiderman moves are impressive, I think the elaborate structures built for this game are mind blowing.

I did some digging and found out that this bi-annual event is also shown on the G4 Network. While the Japanese version is 3 hours long, G4 edits down the action into 30 minutes episodes. It's called Ninja Warrior over on this side of the Pacific Ocean and can be seen on G4 at 6:30 PM and 10:30PM ET every Monday.
