I sometimes feel bad that I spend many of my waking hours fantasizing about multi-touching the iPhone in a slow, sensuous manner. And then I see more evidence that I'm not alone. Also in the none-too-exclusive club? FCC Chairman Kevin Martin was reduced to a gibbering heap after getting to play with a functioning iPhone for about five seconds at the CTIA Wireless conference in Orlando:

And while Apple made sure to whisk the closely guarded device away from the convention center right after the speech, another keynote speaker managed to get his eager hands on it backstage beforehand: Kevin Martin, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.

If you do buy an iPhone, make sure to by FCC chairman insurance. He can't keep his hands off it.
