Chinese automaker Chery Automobile will debut the new A1, its first collaboration with Chrysler, at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, says People's Daily. The A1 is the first of six (and possibly more) small vehicle models that Chery will manufacture with Chrysler's help under their "collaborative production plan for small vehicles." If you already have a Chery QQ, or "Chinese Beetle" (you don't), this is the updated 1.3-liter gas engine subcompact version of that. In the U.S., the A1 will probably be marketed as a Dodge.
