While doing some research on the Steven Holl expansion of the Nelson-Atkins museum I found the building's very own blog, which chronicles the day-by-day preparations as the museum nears its June 9th opening.

It's a pretty interesting spot for finding out what goes into building an art space, as well as what goes into filling the space with priceless collections -- lots of white gloves!

My main complaint though is that the photos aren't bigger. Some like this one beg for a close-up. I also wish the writer got into more detail about the building's specific innovations, but I guess that's where I come in as a reporter. As soon as I know more I'll post.
