This two-minute clip of the Geneva-debut BMW M3 concept manages to squeeze in a little drama — a sense of menace, even — as it lovingly surveys every external surface this car has to offer.

Entirely absent (unless I missed it while blinking) is the under-the-hood aspect. Visible-yet-invisible is the M3's advanced weight-saving technology — notably in its roof, whose clear lacquer exposes a carbon-fibre weave. The slightly dropped carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof, using a production method drawn from BMW's F1 experience, lowers the car's weight and its center of gravity while accentuating the M3 concept's stretched-out lines.
