Toyota says it will show a hybrid sport concept at the Geneva Motor Show that will accelerate from zero to 62.5 mph in "the four-second range." The company is otherwise tight lipped about the front-engine, rear-drive sport-model hybrid. I would be interested in testing the company's claim, though, when/if the model sees production. A recent Lexus hybrid I drove on a test track was supposed to accelerate from standstill to 62.5 mph in fewer than six seconds. I counted eight. Oh, well. No pics are available yet of the hybrid sport model. They did offer a teaser photo of its upcoming Hybrid X, which Toyota says will serve "as a technology showcase for future hybrid cars.
