When A.D. Tramontana shows its first production model next week at the Geneva Motor Show, I hope I can at least look at it up close, and maybe touch and see what its aluminum exterior feels like. But I doubt if they will let me sit behind the wheel since the company plans to make a grand total of five models this year where it is based near Barcelona.
Inside is a V12 bi-turbo engine with up to 720 horsepower. Pricing was not disclosed
(I estimate it will go for at least $1 million plus).
The car's design reminds me of tube-shaped models dating back before WWII, some of which I got to see up close at the Retromobile classic car show in Paris last week.
The car owes its retro-look to its original designers, British car collector Josep Rubau and Xavi López, an engineer hailing from Volkswagen, BMW, and Lamborghini.
