I'll allow you to recover yourself for a moment after reading that.

But it won't much longer. The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research unit is closing, "not because of controversy but because, its founder says, it is time."

The laboratory has conducted studies on extrasensory perception and telekinesis from its cramped quarters in the basement of the university’s engineering building since 1979. Its equipment is aging, its finances dwindling.

My favorite part of the New York Times story: a journal editor told one of the unit's leaders that he would consider printing a study "if you can telepathically communicate it to me.”

The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research isn't the only one of its kind. Look for more on that topic in the next post.

P.S. I nearly gnawed my fingers off trying not to type that clichéd headline, which is good for any psychics in trouble from Jeanne Dixon to Miss Cleo. But still. I love it so.
