Recently found on Deviantart, Gentleman's Club Stock is an entire DA account full of copyright-free, glowing and golden vintage pinups ranging from the Victorian era to the 30's. The gallery holds a vast collection of extremely diverse models; everything from the pulchritudinous, to the borderline grotesque, is represented in all manners of dishabille.
What puzzles me about many of these photographs is the apparent absence of pubic hair. I am not aware of a vogue for bare vulvas in the 1800's, but perhaps I am missing some vital historical data.
Also notice the dramatic shift of body type from the Victorian era to the 20's. The definition of bodily beauty was altered, and different types of models were used, but the bodies themselves had changed. In the earlier photos, one can see the constricted ribcage, ballooning buttocks and poochy belly that accompanied the continuous wearing of serious corsets. This same bodymass migration is visible in modern tightlacers. Just thinking about it makes my relatively uncompressed intestines quiver in trepidation.
