From the 10 Downing Street website:

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to prevent the BBC from making its iPlayer on-demand television service available to Windows users only, and instruct the corporation to provide its service for other operating systems also.

What a country. The petition is only open to British citizens, so let's keep this legit. The petition's open through the 20th of August. The BBC's iPlayer has a tremendous potential, but they're thick as thieves with Microsoft. Wouldn't it be incredible if this makes a difference?

Somehow, I can't imagine Whitehouse.gov ever hosting a petition of any kind. You should check out the other petitions at the site. They're every bit as radical as you might expect.

Thanks, Jonathan!
