I was unable to find a YouTube rendition of this song, so you will have to seek it out on your own. The Tiger Lillies are a three-piece cabaret with a cult following, 18 albums, and several musicals including the world-renowned Shockheaded Peter. I first saw them in the film Plunkett & Macleane, in which they have a perfect cameo in a tavern, playing "Heroin and Cocaine".
Most of their songs are offensive, shocking, and funny. But a few, my favorites, are haunting. Bearded Lady is one of those, and another will show up on a later edition of Noise du Jour dealing with piracy and the sea.
