Mattel's Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Doll, currently being shown at the American International Toy Fair, is one tech-heavy infant.
Tiny servo-motors let it play peekaboo and blow kisses, while a voice chip and RFID tags allow it to ask for, and recognize, its bottle and teddy bear. Voice recognition even permits the doll to learn its owner-assigned name.
No one's perfect, of course. The doll's movements only seem "fluid" and "natural-looking" compared to those old Chuck E. Cheese animatronic displays.
But for $69.99, what do you expect?
The Real Loving Baby Doll will appear on store shelves this summer, and will come in three flavors: white, African-American, and Spanish-only. ¡Que niña hermosa!
