You don't have to love those "Zoom Zoom" ads (and I don't) to be blown away by the design and engineering innovations spawned at Mazda's Hiroshima Design Center over the past eight decades or so. One of the industry's leading design centers since the 1920s, the facility is also home to the Mazda Museum, where those innovations are showcased. Now Mazda has brought that museum to life online, and they've done a kickass job of it.
At the Mazda Museum, fans and car buffs can get a close look at dozens of Mazda's finest creations from every angle — along with archived photos, recent interviews with designers, and video clips of some of Mazda's most spine-tingling vehicles. An Exhibitions area offers recent vehicle tours and auto show unveilings (such as the stunning Ryuga concept cars), while a multimedia timeline explores such milestones as the RX-7 and the first Rotary Engine.
