Round and round the world of Wired News blogs…

• Besides boasting a nifty new logo, Table of Malcontents also features John Brownlee getting all philosophical about blinking, which apparently takes up three percent of our waking hours.

"Blinks, therefore, are like little kisses on our eyeballs from death, who will one day close them forever," Brownlee writes. And across the world, the words "Suicide hotline, please hold" are heard by hundreds of suddenly sad souls.

But never fear: some guy has created a camera to take pictures -- of himself, it seems -- whenever he blinks.

• Gear Factor has a new logo too, and it actually moves. Very nifty. Even niftier (and maybe scarier): smell-o-vision on your computer by 2015!

• From the Why Didn't Anyone Think of This Before? Department, Google Maps now offer live traffic data.
