Hewlett-Packard announced a new version of the iPaq on Sunday, and this one is supposed to be more of a schizophone than a PDA.
The iPaq 500 series will run Windows Mobile 6 and will be able to connect to other phones via regular cellular networks or WiFi and VoIP. You can even switch between modes during a call.
HP says it's targeting businesses who have already switched to VoIP for their office phone system and would naturally be interested in combining VoIP and mobile on one handset.
The 500 series go on sale this spring, pricing TBA.
