It is call "Flux" and it is what Automobiles Peugeot has announced as the winning concept in its annual design contest. Earlier this month, Autopia readers ranked the Flux fourth out of 10 when we asked you to vote.
The designer, Mihai Panaitescu (20), from Turin, said he wanted to create a car so that the "the occupants are always in contact with their surroundings."
The Flux is meant to be driven "as an explorer of sandy beaches, sweeping mountain roads, or simply commuting in the city," Panaitescu said. Inside the car, of course, is the Xbox 360, which Panaitescu says is an essential component. It is a good thing he likes the game console, because in addition to winning €6,000 in prize money, Panaitescu gets to see his design featured in an upcoming Xbox video game.
Peugeot will also build a scaled model of the winning design.
