I was digging around on Flickr to see if I could find any photos from the Doctor Who fan convention that happened over the weekend in Los Angeles. Couldn't find anything particularly interesting -- hello, Outpost Gallifrey readers, where are your freakin' photos? -- but I did find the wonderful photostream of brengibble, who has been going to some great science fiction conventions for the past three decades. Brengibble has photos from a Doctor Who costume contest at Panopticon, an old New Orleans SF con, that are utterly amazing (one example is above). Glitter! Weird hair! Colin Baker! Plus, brengibble has photos from other random conventions like the MST3K convention in 1996 (who knew?) and some random WorldCons and a 1987 Comic-Con thrown in for good measure.
