VTech's Gadget, shown here at the American International Toy Fair, is a game-laden handheld for kids that serves as an MP3 player, an FM radio, and a digital camera.
It comes with 256MB of memory, can display digital stills and video on a standard TV, and provides RF voice and text messaging capabilities over a 2-mile range. You can even challenge fellow Gadgeteers to two-person versions of some built-in games.
The device will appear on store shelves this summer, and will retail for $99.99.
