As you might have noticed, serious changes are afoot here at Wired News. Last fall, we were reunited with the Magazine over at CondeNast after years apart, and we're making a pretty serious effort to remodel and revamp our look now.
And you can help us get there.
We need a new logo to match Wired's new banner style. This is youropportunity to be semi-immortalized in Cult of Mac history. Let mebriefly outline our parameters for project:
1. It needs to be 1000x100 pixels. See this example from Gadget Lab to see one solution that's been put in place already.
2. We want a new text treatment for the name "Cult of Mac."
3. Use the classic Cult of Mac image, as included in our current logoand the cover of the book if you can. Feel free to be as creative asyou like.
I'm going to put a deadline on this thing for a week from Friday, Feb.
23. Shortly thereafter, I'll post the best five or so, recognizingtheir creators, and then I'll unveil the winner as determined byLeander and myself.
Flex your graphic design muscles, guys! I can't wait to see your best.
