Martin said it has not just built, but has handcrafted 40 special edition Vanquish
S Ultimate
Edition models. The company said the effort is a way to bid homage to the firm’s Vanquish S, which is seeing an end to its production cycle.
The Ultimate Edition is "available by special request to customers wishing to celebrate the last of a significant car in
Aston Martin’s history."
It offers up a different color called "Ultimate Black," that its predecessor does not. For extra bragging rights, each car will also be fitted with plaques "denoting the limited edition number."
Like the standard
Vanquish S, you get a top speed of more than 200 mph—which has made the model the company’s fastest ever production car. The price tag: £182,095 ($354,019).
