My father Rick Gauger sends in this video of traditional Mongolian wrestling, with the following explanation:

The wrestlers wear a wonderful leather outfit and do a dance entering and exiting the venue. Object is to make your opponant touch the ground with something other than his feet. The jacket (according to legend) was closed in front until one day long ago, a woman disguised as a man entered a contest, defeated all her opponants, then ripped open her jacket to show her gender. In the uproar that followed, they made a new rule: jackets have to be open in front!

I dig the music and the sort of freewheeling scrambling involved. Not to mention the robed and dignified referees.
