Jhonen Vasquez, horrifically talented comic book creator, music video and cartoon director, and sometime Jehovah’s Witness Protection Program special agent, is recruiting for his World of Warcraft guild, the Order of the Tapeworm:

**

[…]I'm throwing out an early call for people to start characters on Dunemaul (PVP) and Hydraxis (PVE). In a bit, I'll let the goblins in the guild know that we might expect some new additions to our crew of mostly artists. We were going to recruit way back in the early days and even started a website for the guild, but the thought of adding strangers that would just keep screaming "WHICH OF U IS ROMAN?" was too depressing and so it was left to rot.

The Order of the Tapeworm, as is implied, is also home to spookster comic artist Roman Dirge; original english language manga writer and colorist Rikki Simons (famed far and wide among boob-proffering fangirls as the voice of GIR from Invader Zim); cartoonist and science fiction author Rick Gauger; artist, podcast superstar and ToM cheerleader Chris Furniss (aka Frodo) from the Weekly Geek; yours truly, and a handful of other bitter intellectual types who crave gnome blood and witty banter in equal measure.

All applicants are subject to a questionnaire, urine sample, timed agility/obedience trial, and credit check. No refunds.
I got yer update right here. [LiveJournal]
