Why on the whole I like the redesign, I also think that you need to recognize that older geeks read your magazine as well, and as such reduce your dependency on flyspeck-condensed fonts.

Miniscule fonts simple make the magazine harder to read for eveyone, and especially so with your predilection towards small fonts, the same small fonts set inversed on leading article pages, and yet again the same small fonts set in low-contrast colors (light gray on white).

Or does the "coolness" factor outweigh usability?
