The new design is fine. But...
There's always a "But..."
While I appreciate that the page numbers are in a format that mimics the "Wired" flag on the cover, spacing each digit makes it hard to actually read the page numbers. Not a big deal, but a bit annoying. I won't stop reading if you don't change it, but you did ask for comments...
