Wired is losing its edge. As today’s young people would say, the new format sucks.
Wired has been my window on the future for over a decade. It took me days to get through each issue, gobbling up all the vivid, juicy details.
Last night I read the February 07 issue in one hour. Where are the countless short pieces and print bites? Where is the groundbreaking journalism like Bill Joy’s musings on nanotechnology, or Richard Dawkins’ views of religion? Nowhere. Wired has been dumbed down.
Please restore the quirky features that made Wired off-beat and irreverent. Before it regresses all the way to the bland mean of all print media.
