This news will probably not shock you. It appears that Billie Piper, the actress/singer who played the Doctor's companion Rose on the first two seasons of the new Doctor Who, has written the most awful autobiography in history. Despite her incredible popularity in the UK, the book has sold poorly and has gotten little critical attention. This proves two things: 1. Do not write an autobiography in your early twenties unless you are Alexander the Great; 2. I can reignite my faith in the reading public because at least one stupid celebrity autobiography isn't selling like frakkin' hotcakes. The book, entitled Growing Pains, details Piper's struggles with anorexia, drugs, and being a 15-year-old pop star. Apparently she doesn't explain anything about what it was like to become a god and write the words "bad wolf" all across the universe.
