Thanks to the wonders of YouTube, you can see the only episode ever made of Welcome to Eltingville, the animated show based on a series called "The Eltingville Fan Club" featured in Evan Dorkin's brilliant comic book Dork. Above you can see the short intro to the show, which features our heroes before they go utterly insane over Boba Fett and nerd trivia. This is a plot lifted straight out of the comic books, in which the guys in the club (who have titles like "secretary of science fiction" and "secretary of horror") always wind up going explosively nuts and ripping each other to shreds over comic books or D&D or some other super important nerd thing. What I'm saying is that it's good because it's true.
