If you're waiting for Apple to make the mythological OS X-powered tablet PC, it's time to wake yourself from cryogenic storage: Christmas came early. Sort of.

Igor, a reader at OnlyUMPC.com, a site dedicated to the small form-factor (and Windows-powered) PCs that briefly seemed like the second coming last year, got OS X 10.4.7 running on an Asus RH2. And it is beautiful:

It takes some time but it is very simple. Only issue is that it is not optimized for resolution of 800×480 so you can not see back and next buttons so you must use TAB button and try if the right button is selected. OK I almost forgot. It was nor dual boot installation. Mac OS X is my only OS now on Asus R2H.

One wonders how useful it actually is: it's not entirely clear if the device is still completely usable.
