Sunconnection's SC-VP128SD hides behind the form and bearing of a digital camera, but offers a rack of DAP features a CyberShot or Exilim would jealously gossip about behind the SC-VP128SD's back.

"Hark at her! Thinking she's an MP3 player!" Sony's chunky consumer-grade digicam said, her hand pecking around in her pleather handbag for a hanky.
"I bet she's got no megapixels," replied the Exilim, cigarette smoke coiling around her plaid headscarf. "Would you look at those shoes? Brazen hussy."

The SC-VP128SD sports a 2.5-inch screen, connects via USB 2.0 port, and supports MP3, WMA, and ASF video. It measures 11x6.5x2cm and weighs 90g. Pricing will be around $80.

As Crave's Mike Yamamoto points out, it's getting hard to tell what anything does by apperance alone. Just as old Victorian tools can be baffling to modern eyes, so the latest gizmos must be closely inspected before their functionality can be ascertained.
