Any visitors to the Apple Store this holiday season have been treated to a few special treats. One is the Apple holiday music video, already noted here, and the other is a stunning 3-D snowflake screensaver.

As it turns out, it's called Snowfall, and it was created by Russell Warnebolt. It's for Tiger only, as it requires Quartz Composer. But it's free. The best part? It's about winter, not just Christmas or the holidays, so you can use it through March. Or May, if you live in Chicago.
