Satellite radio leader Sirius says it plans to offer a live video service for cars by late next year.
In the first move by Sirius over the last few years not to pivot around
Howard Stern, the video content will be kiddie programming for back-seat drivers, supplied by major TV providers.
“We have three content deals that are very close to being finalized,” said
CEO Mel Karmazin. “We will have video in the rear seat of the car up and running.”
