Porntones are temporarily unavailable "until an issue is worked out." Is it possible that Sex Drive had anything to do with this? Here's what the BowChicaMobile guy says:
I sincerely hope this is not a trend; and I find, sadly, that I believe it is. Renderotica had a similar experience this fall when its credit card processor wigged out over the erotic fantasy content. The art exchange had to remove a whole bunch of content, and later was able to repost some but not all of it.
I had more to say on the subject but I find it boils down to two simple, easy-to-understand words: Lighten. Up.
OK, just a little bit more. What is so scary about this, to people? You think it's tasteless? Fine. Don't buy it, and if someone in your office uses it, tell 'em to switch it off at work. I personally would rather not hear half the ringtones that people around me seem to love; my Lyle Lovett clip (i live in my own mind) has made others cringe and grumble about country music. But who cares? We are a lot of people living on top of each other. We've got to relax or we're going to explode.
Besides, if you can sell certain bad popular music and not feel it harms your business reputation, you really should be able to handle some of the jazz these folks are offering.
