To go along with his review of Windows Vista, venerable New York Times columnist David Pogue mockingly
defends Vista against accusations of ripping off Mac OS X Tiger in a video. As you might expect, the evidence points to a rip off, but he clings to minor distinctions to defend Microsoft. It's quite amusing.

What a lot of people haven't noticed, however, is that the segment is itself a rip-off.

At this summer's WWDC keynote, Apple Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Bertrand Serlet went through and did a feature-by-feature comparison between Tiger and Vista to show how much Microsoft was distinguishing its product from Apple's – virtually not at all.

Seriously, check the video at about the 25-minute mark. Bertrand got here first, David. And he got both OSes to display at the same time for his segment.
