James Kim, an editor for CNet who was working on a book about Zune, and his wife, Kati, and two daughters Penelope and Sabine, have been missing since last Saturday, Nov. 25. They were last seen in Roseburg, Oregon, in their silver 2005 Saab station wagon, which as the vanity license plate "DOE SF."
James and Kati are the owners of two stores in San Francisco Doe, a clothing store in the Lower Haight, and Church Street Apothecary in Noe Valley. I have multiple connections to this family that I didn't even know about until this week, and the number of people whose lives are affected by their disappearance is tremendous. If you have seen the Kims or their car, please call (800) 452-7888.
Thanks for stepping back from the ongoing Mac/PC battles to do something important. It might make a difference for dozens of people.
Thanks, Kimra!
