Good Vibrations Launches Sex-Ed Video "Quickies"

I just got an email alerting me to a good thing. This is from Dana at Good Vibrations: Good Vibrations has started a low-budget, creative-commons licensed videocast, called GVTV Quickies.

The project came together spontaneously — one day a few of us werebrainstorming, the next borrowing a camera and filming "What's theP-spot," a few blocks from the office, on our lunch break. Episodesfeature Carol Queen, Charlie Glickman, and many SESAs (Sex Educator /
Sales Associates). You can find them on Blip.TV (gvtv.blip.tv), YouTube (www.youtube.com/gvtv), or ITunes.

The project is still very much a work in progress, but we’re reallyencouraged by the possibilities. We see video as a new medium tosupport our educational mission and reach people, we’re working toactively incorporate more new-ish technologies into our site/business,
so expect more good things to come!

I'vewatched a couple of them and they are cute and endearingly garage-band.
Nothing overproduced about it which is refreshing to me today.

The sex-ed seems to be pretty basic, mainly introductory content; if you've been reading Sex Drive
for a while you might not encounter a lot of new information in theseearly episodes. However, you can send your questions and suggestionsfor future Quickies to submissions@goodvibes.com.
