Gary Wolf's article, "The Church of the Non Believers", was right on. With 95% of the worlds population in the grip of a medieval theofrenia, the rest of us need to stand up and say enough! We don't believe in the god of Abraham, Jesus, Allah, or string theory. We want empirical evidence obtained with the use of scientific principles. That's it! Superstition no longer serves us, and if we are to move forward as a species, we have to stop arguing over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin! Galileo died for our sins, let's see if we can make it worth it.
