The Nike+iPod Kit has been a match made in heaven for both Apple and its famous shoe-making friend to the north. It perfectly blends audio and athletics in a compact package that can't be beat.
And now Nike is taking its promise to a whole new level.
Via a tech-buying guide that gave a way a bit too much in Men's Health, meet the still offifically unannounced Nike Amp+, a wristband that communicates with the Nike+iPod to allow you to control your precious iPod nano from your wrist via Bluetooth. Now you can keep it wrapped up safely and make on-the-go changes. Additionally, information about your work-out, tracked with the Nike+, gets displayed in a stunning LED read-out. It's also completely hot, as you can see above, and just $80. (There's no direct link to the write-up, as it's in Flash. Click through and select media players to find it).
And on the very same day, Nike is launching the $105 C.O.R.E. Backpack iD, which integrates iPod controls into the straps keeping it on your back. Nice schwag, Nike. Keep it coming.
