Reuters has this story about how career networking site LinkedIn will start offering a recommendation-driven services directory, making it easier for its users to find service providers.

LinkedIn, the biggest social network for business users, late on Sunday said it will offer members a way of choosing business service providers based on recommendations instead of just random listings on traditional yellow pages guides.

It's sort of like Yelp for the HR set. I can see this being extremely useful to designers looking for a printer, facilities managers looking for a contracted repair person, or small business managers trying to decide on the right broadband provider.
