Nokia capped their announcement yesterday of three new "fashion phones" – the 7360, 7373 and 7390 – with the introduction of the Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition. The premium moble phone features a stainless steel metal shell, 262,000 color display, a two-megapixel camera and a complimentary Bluetooth headset. In homage to the sound made by a Sirocco – "the desert-born wind that originates in the Sahara when a warm, dry air mass collides with the cooler, maritime air of the Mediterranean Most" – the 8800 boasts sounds synthesized by ambient-music pioneer Brian Eno. It's available now in select markets for EUR 1000.
