We’re intrigued by any digital audio player that doesn’t look like it came from the same cookie cutter as most of the devices currently on the market. With its sleek, oblong shape, Trekstor’s Vibez certainly qualifies. Combine the unique design with its support for FLAC and Ogg Vorbis (in addition to the usual formats) and it becomes clear that the Vibez is intent on setting itself apart. The player also features an FM tuner, JPEG viewing capabilities and a wired controller. The Vibez debuts in Europe this November in an 8GB ($254) and a 15GB ($292) model. Unfortunatley, there’s no word on a North American release date.
