Well, so, Michael is out of town on a shark wrestling safari or something like that and I've been asked to fill his shoes for a few days (have you ever seen a size 16?).

I'm not sure where people get their tech news these days, I subscribe to a number of RSS feeds myself, but sometimes RSS isn't all that practical. For instance I travel a fair bit and often don't have wireless access, so how to keep up on the tech happenings of the world? Well this morning I discovered Popurl.

Popurl is basically an online RSS reader pulling headlines from digg, newsvine, metafilter and others, as will as del.ico.us and reddit links, and displaying everything on one reasonably attractive page.

But wait there's more! Flickr photos, youtube videos, ifilm shorts, google news, fark postings... everything happenin' on the net all in one place and all displayed as simple links.

Kinda cool.
