Remember the – video that purported to show the all-new, tabbed-browsing enabled OS 10.5 Finder? Well, the creator of some faked Leopard screenshots is calling out the creator of that video for what are claimed to be obvious flaws.

Now there's the matter of the About This Mac box. Although you may not know this, you can actually change that box to say anything you want: just go to System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist, then modify to your heart's content. You really can put anything in that box.

You were close, oh video faker, but none of really bought it. We're all going to see the real thing in action in two weeks anyway, so I'm delighted that someone has so expertly picked apart the flaws in your video, which simply didn't represent a large enough jump forward for a major OS X release.
