We're going to start Friday off with something a little different: a bike blog.
The indie rock band The Ditty Bops are taking an unconventional approach to the band-on-tour thing — they are biking across the country. The tour is meant to promote alternative transportation and cleaner air in addition to the standard goal of selling records and merchandise. The Bops are also blogging a few times every day, noting the routes they're following, the food they're eating, and the roadkill they're spotting along the way.
The blog is an entertaining read. If nothing else, you'll get some ideas about interesting foods to try out. Check it out the Ditty Bops Bike Tour blog and go see them when they come to your town.
